The Kappa Gamma chapter of Bates College became the most recent addition to the society by conducting its first induction on September 27. The chapter is the 219th formed since the inception of ΗΣΦ in 1914. Kappa Gamma is the first chapter in the state of Maine. Lobster rolls for all!
Great thanks are owed to Caroline Barnes, a junior at Bates with a major in Classical and Medieval Studies, and Prof. Lisa Maurizio, who will serve as the adviser to the new chapter. They were both integral in organizing the new group. Kappa Gamma inducted twelve new members at the ceremony.
